How these numbers are calculated

All analytics are computed from the tx-indexer (Gnoland's native transaction indexing is intentionally disabled on this network), whose block and transaction rows were reconciled 1:1 against canonical RPC blocks by an independent audit (docs/analytics-audit.md). Every bucket boundary is UTC — the bucket labeled 2026-09-19 covers [2026-09-19T00:00:00Z, 2026-09-20T00:00:00Z). The last bucket is partial (it is still filling). The genesis pseudo-block at height 0 and its 96 records are excluded everywhere.

Total transactions
Canonical transactions included in gnoland-1 blocks, height 1 through the analytics tip (successful + failed always sums to the total). The tx-indexer's synthetic height-0 genesis records (96: package deployments, exec and run operations from the genesis file) are not part of any canonical block and are excluded — so this figure is intentionally 96 lower than counters that include them.
Average block time
Mean of consecutive-block intervals: (t_first − t_last-block-before-window) telescoped over contiguous heights — computed as (t_last − t_first)/(h_last − h_first) over the window's blocks; never window-duration ÷ block-count. Halt gaps are included by design (chain-observed time); the median is shown alongside.
Median block time
Median of the same consecutive block-interval deltas. When a window spans more than 45 days, only the trailing 45 days of per-day delta sets are retained and medianBucketsUsed reports the coverage.
Success / failure
A transaction is successful when the indexer's normalized success flag is true (cross-checked live against response.error and the per-message success log). The success rate is successes ÷ transactions.
Active addresses
Unique addresses appearing in a reliably decoded message role: BankMsgSend from/to, MsgCall/MsgRun caller, MsgAddPackage creator, MsgEnablePackage approver, MsgRejectPackage sender. Signers are the author roles only (everything except BankMsgSend recipients). Failed transactions still count as activity. Undecodable messages (e.g. create_session) never count.
New addresses
Addresses whose first-ever verified activity height falls inside the bucket, from a full-chain first-seen index — not first appearance within the window.
Messages
Every decoded message of every indexed transaction (a multi-message tx contributes each message). Unknown message types keep their raw type name — nothing is folded away.
Realm / package creation
Successful MsgAddPackage transactions, classified by canonical path prefix: gno.land/r/… is a realm, gno.land/p/… a package. Failed deployments never count.
Most active realms
Successful MsgCall messages targeting the realm's exact package path, summed per window; sub-paths are not merged.
Proposer distribution
Count of canonical blocks whose proposer is the given validator, over the window's blocks; share is blocks-proposed ÷ window-blocks.

Percentages are exact two-decimal values from integer arithmetic; durations are exact timestamp deltas rounded only for display.
